Marc Jacobs to launch Make-Up Line & wearing a dress!?

Marc Jacobs has "finally" announced he's launching his very own Make-Up range!  Talking recently to WDD, MJ said:

"I see make-up, fragrance - everything, really - as an opportunity. The idea of choosing a colour for your lip, or an eyeliner - it's just such a delight. The ritual of waking up and making those choices is something people really enjoy."

Recently MJ was seen out rocking a "dress" from his new Fall line, I know his big on his skirts and his kilts but maybe he's gone a little too far with this one!  Do your thing MJ...

Happy Easter!!

While most of us would be happy with a nice chocolate egg from the local store, other people will only settle for the best! William Curley, a London based chocolatier is now the proud Guiness World Record holder for crafting the most expensive non-jeweled chocolate egg that ever got sold at an auction. Weighing in at 50kg and filled with the Curley favorites, the winner of gold awards from the Academy of Chocolate, including Japanese black vinegar, toasted sesame, muscovado caramel, rosemary and olive oil and juniper berry and cassis, this Golden Speckled Egg is also accented with edible gold leaf.  Christened as the Golden Speckled Egg, the egg was auctioned as part of the Big Egg Hunt presented by Faberge, which is a tradition related to the Easter egg festival. This contemporary and stylish chocolate egg was bought by the technology investor Cyrus Vandrevala for $10,000.

It might now be over, but London just hosted the Big Egg Hunt, the world's biggest-ever Easter egg hunt.   Many have been created by famous names such as Mulberry, Sir Ridley Scott, Zandra Rhodes, Diane Von Furstenberg, Marc Quinn, Bruce Oldfield and the Chapman brothers. If you have some spare change, like £40,000+ take a look at some of these!  http://www.thebigegghunt.co.uk/eggs

Victoria Beckham on the cover of Harper's Bazaar China May 2012

Victoria Beckham is unrecognisable on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar China for their May 2012 issue.  Looking more like an avatar for a new action computer game and sporting fire red hair and feathered eye shadows, this is definitely a new look for Posh!
Shot by Chen Men, Victoria has really worked this new look and I think it definitely works for her.  Check out two additional pictures shot by Chen Men of Victoria wearing a dress from her Spring 2012 collection and a black studded Versace Spring 2012 dress.

The IWC Muhammad Ali Watch at Auction!

Naturally, The Greatest needs a timepiece worthy of his stature. To mark Muhammad Ali's Celebrity Fight Night for charity in Phoenix, Arizona on Saturday, IWC created a unique, eminently auctionable version of its Big Pilot watch. Sure enough, the white-gold Muhammad Ali edition complete with engraved signature on the back (what, no round timer?) went under the hammer for over nearly $60,000 (£38,000) with proceeds going to the pugilist's Parkinson Centre. The price tag stings like a bee, but then the watch is after all a true one-off - like the great man himself.

Customize Your Stuph!

And some of the colorware customized own selection of Dre Beats are crazy too!

ColorWare Inc., established in 2000, is an industry leader in altering the color of existing products. ColorWare began with the concept of transforming the ubiquitous beige computer into a custom-colored work of art. The idea began with an attempt to color a late-model cell phone in 1999. After a year of testing and experimenting, the ColorWare high-gloss, scratch-resistant polymer-based coating was perfected. ColorWare’s initial offerings included 22 standard colors available on two mp3 players, three gaming consoles, and four computers, and many new products as well as additional colors have been added in recent years.

A lil’ positivity…

After a Facebook campaign calling for a bald version of Barbie for children who have lost their hair as a result of cancer treatment, Mattel has announced that it will create a bald fashion doll that the company is calling the “bald friend of Barbie.”

“These dolls, which will be a friend of Barbie, will be distributed exclusively to children’s hospitals and other hospitals treating children with cancer throughout the U.S. and Canada, directly reaching girls who are most affected by hair loss,” said Mattel Company spokesman Alan Hilowitz in a statement.
The announcement comes after a Facebook movement urging Mattel to produce a bald version of its famously blonde Barbie doll earlier this year. To date, the page has had more than 150,000 “likes.”
The bald doll would include “hats, scarves and other fashion accessories to provide girls with a traditional fashion play experience. For those girls who choose, the wigs and head coverings can be interchanged or completely removed.”
